The Star-Breather created Gaia (Earth) so he would have someone to watch over and share his wisdom with as a father. Gaia was content for sometime but eventually grew lonesome. She asked her father for some more companionship to which the Star-Breather obliged on the condition that should he make her a partner that she would die by their hand at the end of all things. She agreed and Time (the Keeper of) was created and the two were married upon meeting.
Gaia was barren of life for a long time. She was of course very sad about this. So her husband Time asked the Star-Breather for a set of helpers or apprentices that would be of use to both of them. To keep his wife company and to help him keep track of time. The Star-Breather answered his request generously with 6 children which Gaia adopted without question. 4 Girls (the Four Seasons) and 2 boys (the Sun and Moon).
After sometime with spirits uplifted and their tight knit family flourishing in rhythm with one another Gaia was able to conceive. They had a son and a daughter, twins; Life and Death
Life and Death fell deeply in love and upon their union they created Man. Man was the destruction of everything created by their mother and father. For this Death was made to take the life of Man (killing his children before their mother’s eyes against his will) and Life was forced to stand by and watch the children she labored to give birth to helplessly until the end of Time and Gaia's long lives as punishment. (This is why incest is taboo.)
Life was resigned to live without her lover with the knowledge that the end of all would bring them together again.
Death however became resentful and so full of vicious hatred that he brought about a son created in his image. This son was Destruction. Who would do anything to please his vengeful father.
Death sent his son to Man to speed up the End of All by whispering into Man's ear and tricking him into destroying not only himself but Gaia and Time as well with selfishness and carelessness.
Destruction would also taunt and tease and bait the 4 Elements (which were sons and daughters of the Sun and Moon) to cause catastrophe; volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, forest-fires, and the like.
Life would try and reprehend the wild child but to no avail. She could do nothing but try and rebuild what had been destroyed and try to keep her mother alive by healing her wounds.
Death would often torment his son asking why he never succeeded and was always failing and doing nothing but being a bother to him as he has to collect the souls of those killed by Destruction.
Seeing as he needed help Destruction sought to make a few helpers for himself since he dared not ask the Star-Breather for fear he would be punished or caught in the act by Time who sat in the sands around the Star-Breather's throne.
In secret he found the 4 Seasons and one by one seduced and raped them. From this action the 3 Horsemen of the Apocalypse were born and so the End of All got its true name.
The 3 Horsemen were Conquest [White Horse], War [Red Horse], and Famine [Black Horse]. Later Death joined them [Pale Horse].
To be continued...
