Ema sat at the organ in the Rec. Hall, her hands busy at the black and white keys of the instrument she'd loved since childhood. She always played when her mind was too busy. When she started thinking too much. Her head was already throbbing. Thankfully the walls were thick and she wouldn't be waking anyone up with her song. Her soft lilting voice blending in with every note. Her parents used to compare her to a meadow lark. Would they still, if they had lived? Without realizing it a tear rolled down her cheek and landed in the keys. "This quality won't come again... Completely overwhelmed with nothing~ Compare the quiet to the pain. Just tell them everything is perfect~" What happened to the days she would play Nightwish and Evanessence? Throw in a little Paramore, Beatles, whatever was r
equested. Hours spent transcribing music for the people she saw everyday? "Well the camera get what the camera take, and it's all gone; all gone~ And the wind won't howl if the window break, and we're all gone; all gone." What would she do with broken memories anyway?
Who cared who Jake was, or how Bruce was born, or how the M.E.P attacked? She'd heard of all these, yet it would never be the same, it would never feel the same, knowing she had /lived/ it and... couldn't remember. What if there was something she knew somewhere that would help in the future? What if the Brotherhood made a move? She knew people in the Brotherhood because she had /lived/ there. Spied on them, became friends even? There was no way to know now... This /had/ to be fixed. She had to know. Who wouldn't?
Skipping through the halls not really trying since even like this she was faster than the person chasing her. It truly was a poor game of tag. Which it obviously wasnt it was really was her fathers annoying assistant trying desperately to catch her but quickly getting lost in the huge mansion of a school. It really was an interesting school so many hallways and rooms to explore and this wasnt even the dorm building,at least she didnt think it was. Honestly she was getting a bit lost herself but she wasnt ready to give up and turn back around. So she checked to see how far away the other was before doing a somersault up the wall and then sticking to the ceiling by her hands and toes which were conveneintly in open toed sandals. She waited and tried to to giggle before the bewildered adult gave up and started walking back the way he came. It was then that she happened to notice a rather chilling voice coming from behind the doors across the hall. She silently hopped down onto the floor and curiously walked in.
