(I didn't know if this would be short or long term) Sparrow kissed her little girl goodnight and caressed her cheek, thinking that her little one (now about 4 months) was growing up so fast. Little Lizzy Angel Beilschmidt was the cutest baby in her mother's eyes, even if she had repeated her mother's mistake of having a baby out of wedlock. If you could even call what she had a relationship, it seemed like she spent so much time away from Mikhail lately. What was the last time she had seen him, she sadly thought. Maybe it was the day that their daughter was born. That seemed about right, though a lot of the blame was on her head as well as his. And their daughter was starting to look like him too. She the prettiest grey eyes, her father's eyes. Sparrow's blond, fine hair that curled cutely. Her hand rose to wipe off a tear that slid down her cheek, placing her head sadly against the bar of the crib before reaching down to stroke her daughter's cherub cheek. Lucienne came up beside her aunt and gave her a hug around her waist with some difficulty. Sparrow knelt down and hugged the little girl tightly before picking up the baby monitor and her, walking out of the room to go into her own bedroom where the mother and niece curled up onto the bed. There wasn't any talk that went on, just the quiet sound of Lucienne's breath when the girl finally fell asleep and Sparrow's soft cries.
