Just an FYI
Westchester NY is an actual place. It's north of the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. You don't have to stick to just Neon city. Especially because Neon City [is made up XD] and it's just full of bars, clubs; basically a giant redlight district. That's all that's in Neon City because it's a tourist attraction kinda place and it's very small.
Description:
The X-Mansion has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times the ground around the estate, however, remain ultimately unchanged. Surrounding the mansion are fields, forests, and a beach on Breakstone Lake [which is a natural freshwater lake just east of the main structure.] There's a boat house next to the lake, a small cemetery where a few students and several former X-Men lay at rest, there is a courtyard with a ball court and swimming pool, the danger cave [which is similar to the danger room], the danger room, Morlock tunnels [tunnels connecting New York and New Jersey], and the Hanger's Bay
Inside the mansion: on the ground floor is the grand foyer, kitchen, formal dining room, parlor, library, sitting room and Professor X's office. The second floor had private chambers and a study lounge [Which has since been moved to the student dormitories]. The basement provides additional storage and a wine cellar. Atop the mansion was a large glass-panelled dome that was renovated into a greenhouse.
Below the mansion is the subbasements, the true headquarters of the X-Men. This is where the training facilities and conference areas used by the X-Men while preparing for field missions. The subbasement is connected to the main structure via hyperlifts.

Other Places:
- The mutant locating, telepathic-enhancing super-computer Cerebra was located in a secure chamber.
- The Danger Room appears to be a featureless room, but in actuality operates as the ultimate battle simulator. [Students are not permitted to be in the Danger Room unless accompanied by an instructor or X-Man.]
- The holding cells are an underground prison facility for those villains that the X-Men deemed too unsafe to let roam about freely. The holding cells consist of small titanium-steel cells, with the same type of door. Various safety measures are be taken, such as erecting an internal force field to back up the titanium-steel walls, a nullification field to 'switch off' mutant abilities, and various others. There are also stasis tubes, which hold inhabitants in a state of suspended animation until they were awakened. [These are sometimes used to keep volatile/dangerous students that could harm themselves or others.]
- The medical and research labs are usually used by medically-trained mansion staff. RALPH, the holographic doctor was also installed in the lower-level Medical Lab, in the event that any members of the medical team are unavailable.
- The War Room is located near the Danger Room. It is the 'operating center' of the X-Men, where briefings are given, missions are planned, and meetings take place.
- The Z'noxx Chamber is mysterious secret, psi-proof chamber of which only Professor X and a select few know.
