As the night settled into Neon City he emerged from the dirty hotel he'd managed to find for cheap. It was a sleazy little hole in the wall, squeezed in between two bars at the very heart of the city. He'd watched as the night had creeped in and been kept safely at bay by the multitudes of neon lights from which the city got its name. He was fully charged and more that ready to hit the town, cheat at a few casinos, steal a little from the all too well off nobility that had no better use for their money than throw it away anyway. He was sure they would mind a few hundred going to a good cause. Fixing Joshua. His home, his dream, his life... then he'd find that school tomorrow, learn what he needs and get the hell back home. And so he started off into the city of neon colour.
She sighed bored staring down at her drink. There was only so much fun she could have like this messing with men using her appearance.Really she didn't care for it any more it was weird but all she could seem to think of any more was...well Hayden. She really didn't get it why he was so nice to her why he seemed to like her so much...why was she so special in his eyes...he was certainly the only one to truly like her for how she really was how she really looked...but would he really always?....didn't men want to settle down fall in love marry and...have children?...She didn't think she could make him happy she really wished he would find someone else she was so scared every time he expressed how he felt....like what if he were to say those words or worse..propose?!No she wouldn't worry about that now shed just keep avoiding him.....but she couldn't keep doing so forever could she?forever what a word...and maybe shed been changing to get out of seeing him she felt terrible for it but she almost couldn't help it.She twirled a blonde curl not out of coyness or flirtatiousness but simply cause she felt like pulling it all out...damn this power that allowed her in fact seemed to encourage her to hide to take the easy way out always.....and as for running hadn't she been doing so ever since....no she hadn't told him that either had she?She sighed before downing the drink in front of her wishing she didn't have any tolerance at all.
He was never one to drink. Not even for free. Didn't like the taste, smell, or stupid people that came with it but he'd buy something and down it just the blend in as he was pickpocketing the royals. Neon city.. what a worn out old whore of a city... Only place in the word where one could actually see people from every working class, and some non-working, gathered together like this... it was all very strange to his foreign eyes.As he walked through the crowd he set his sights on a lively rich couple that were bidding an entire mortgage payment. And of course skilfully nicked their money bags right out from under their noses. He was already smiling to himself, inwardly laughing at the cameras that never caught him when he misjudged distance and bumped into a pretty blonde. Offering her a polite and apologetic smile he gave a small bow. "My sincere apologies Miss. I seem to have allowed the drink to go to my head." He covered smoothly, light brown eyes glittering mischievously.
She frowned snapped out of her thoughts and worries by a man. She tried not to sneer she was really tired of this image and all the annoying dreadful men it seemed to attract...but when she looked up to see him he...actually didn't look like all the rest....she smiled back though still a bit reserved...didnt mean she trusted him any farther than she could throw him...which wouldn't be far at all. "I suppose id let it slide though I don't see how truly sincere you could be if you are that drunk"
"A thousand pardons m'lady~" He couldn't help but smirk, caramel eyes scanning over her face. "If there is anyway for me to atone for my clumsiness I would do so. Gladly." And while he played the part of apologetic gentleman the rich couple just behind him were finding out they'd been horribly robbed. Shit.. Through all that though he kept a well practised façade of princely ideals and a kind smile. Well.. smirk but come on ... "But... as it would seem I'm about to be late to another gathering... perhaps I could make it up to you by asking you to accompany me?"
Well this was certainly...interesting...but why was it he was in such a hurry?Though she could hardly disagree what was she doing here any ways...or with her life...and it was a bit tempting to follow him...anything would beat hanging around this cursed disgusting bar...so she stood and held out her hand for him to take and followed him giggling a bit. "hmm....Ill think of something I'm sure.......and well I suppose so.....as long as its better than this place."
